Welcome to KBOP Korean Kitchen (Mandarin) in Jacksonville, FL! Our locally owned and family-operated restaurant serves up authentic Korean cuisine with a focus on house-made specialties. From savory beef bibimbap to crispy Korean fried chicken and refreshing seaweed salad, we offer a diverse menu that caters to all taste buds. Join us for lunch specials between 11AM-2PM or bring the family for dinner from 2PM-9PM, and experience the flavors of Korea with our banchan flight, japchae, kimchi fries, and more. I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed what I ordered from KBOP Korean kitchen. I got the bulgogi meal, which comes with rice, veggies and one mandu (dumpling). The bowl felt heavy, so it was packed with food. I actually ate half for dinner and the other half for lunch the next day. The bulgogi was perfectly seasoned and cooked nicely. We also got fruit tea, since they had a buy 2 get 1 free special. I got the red guava flavor and it was AMAZING! The fruit tea also came with lychee jelly and we added strawberry popping pearls to ours. I most certainly will be back every time I find myself in the area!

My hubby and I stopped in KBOP Korean Kitchen for lunch. I first noticed the wall art, nice touch! The menu is plentiful. So much so, I couldn't decide what to order. While I agonized over making a decision, my husband ordered the Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Bop Bowl and a corona beer for $20. Thank goodness I took forever to order because my husband's meal came out and it was generous! His bowl fed BOTH of us AND we had leftovers. The Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Bop Bowl had chicken, rice, noodles, veggies, and one mandu on top. Their chicken? Crispy and flavorful (kinda salty, but not overbearing). The spicy was gringo level. Service was welcoming and fast. The restaurant is clean, cute and inviting. My husband mentioned how this place would make a great Yelp event! FYI- Kids eat free on Tuesdays They offer Military discount Light Beer and wine selection Outdoor seating They give you a fun scratch-off card with freebies and/or discounts for your next visit Great find, good food, awesome service, wonderful value for the amount of food you get.

Stopped in for a lunch date with the wife, it was a good choice. My wife couldn't decide what to get, so I ordered for myself, which turned out to be the right call because the portions are HUGE. One bowl fed both of us and we had leftovers. I ordered the Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Bop Bowl. It came with a side soup (I think it's clear soup), the bowl had rice, noodles, veggies, and one mandu. The chicken was excellent: crispy, flavorful, and not overly salty. The "spicy" label is mild. In all, delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. Staff were kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming. A few bonuses worth mentioning: Kids eat free on Tuesdays Military discount available Light Beer and wine selection Scratch-off cards that can win you free items on your next visit Outdoor seating We'll definitely be back with the kids. Great food, great service, great value.
